A Study on the development of Social Education Programs for Urban Residents in Collective Residential Units With a special interest in the improvement of their mutual human relatinship

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to form a tentative plan in the process of preparing social education programs with particular interest in the living state of the residents in collective residential units and the improvement of their human relationship. For this purpose we gathered information through a questionair practised on 270 randomly Chosen families of Jung-woo Apartment House located in Daemyong Dong, Namgu, Daegu city, and consulted plenty of literature on the theories of collective groups and social education. Thus We, by providing them with proper social education through the investigation into their living state and their demand for social education, inted to find ways to make such city residents form cheerful human relationship in an attempt to remove Various social problems caused by the rapid industrialization and urbanization of society. Through the analysis of this investigation, we have reached the following conclusions. Firstly, setting an educational goal based on the education for the improvement of human relationship should be given the first priority, along with some special concern with the establishment of the view of value necessary for their desirable social adjustment. Also such education goal should be able to provide them with motivation needed for inhencing their Sense of participition. Secondly, the costs of such education program should be interest-cented education, religious education, mental hygiene, and liberal adult education. These educational programs should be practised mostly through health improvement, hobby, and cultural activities which make it possible for them to communicate with each other. Thirdly, the place for such social education should be situated within their residential unit so that they can participte as a group.
